报告人简历：

Hussein Abd-Elmotaal, Professor of Surveying and Geodesy, Rank of Vice Rector of Minia University. He obtained his Ph.D degree in Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria. He holds many international positions such as the member of the Advisory Board of the International Geoid Service, International Association of Geodesy (2015 - present), editor for the Journal of International Association of Geodesy Symposia (2013 -present) , the chair of the IAG Sub-Commission on Regional Geoid Modelling (2011 - 2015), the chair of the IAG Sub-Commission on gravity and geoid in Africa (2007 - present). He is winner of the IAG Best Paper Award for Young Scientists in1993. Professor Hussein has published a total of 146 papers and researches, which greatly contributed to geodetic scientific community.
