报告人简历：

Dr. Xiaoye Liu is a senior lecturer in School of Civil Engineering and Surveying, Faculty of Health, Engineering and Sciences, University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Dr. Liu got both bachelor and master degrees in surveying engineering from Wuhan University, China. She also obtained a master degree in applied information technology from the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, and PhD in Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing from the School of Geography and Environmental Science, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Liu has over 30 years’ experiences of teaching and research in spatial science. Her research interests include: GIS and remote sensing in natural resource and environment applications; 3D laser scanning for environment applications; 3D surface modelling and visualisation; 3D flooding modelling and simulation; geodatabase design and programming; and support vector machine learning for object-based image analysis and classification.
